Sessions can end now

Account closure and record review
Ending a sign-in session, removing institutional access and deleting a record are different actions. Ask your institution to review the right outcome for your account and the records associated with it.
THE CONNECTED INSTITUTION
Clear responsibilities. Informed decisions.Give your sign-in email or a minimal account reference, the institution or campus and the relationship you are ending. Do not include a password or authenticator code.
Say whether you want access deactivated, personal details corrected, consent reviewed or particular information considered for deletion.
Verify identity securely and ask the administrator to consider other memberships, outstanding institutional processes and record-retention requirements.
Ask which access ended, which information was removed or retained, the reason for any retention and whom to contact about an unresolved point.
A CLOSER LOOK
An account can be associated with more than one institution, while academic, financial and administrative records belong to their institutional context. A closure request needs to identify the affected membership and information so the review does not unintentionally affect unrelated access.
Use sign-out for the current browser or review active sessions in your account to revoke a selected device or your other sessions.
Ask an authorized institution administrator to review the access that should end, including roles, institution scope and any other active memberships.
Learner history, fee transactions and issued documents may need to be preserved. The institution should explain the decision for each relevant record category.
Use the institution’s established channel to verify the requester and, where needed, the authority to act for a learner or another account holder.
HOW IT WORKS
There is no universal self-service account-deletion button. Follow the institution’s identity and record-review process.

Understand the outcome
Be specific about what you want reviewed, and ask for a clear explanation of the resulting changes.
Revoke the affected session from a trusted device and change the password if needed. Account deletion is not necessary to end a browser session.
Identify that institution’s membership. Access at another institution may still be needed, so ask the administrator to review the intended scope.
Leaving does not automatically remove attendance, results, financial entries or employment history. The responsible institution must review what can be removed and explain any preservation requirement.
Ask whether the request also affects authorized exports or external services. Removing application access does not itself confirm deletion from a downloaded report, provider or backup.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions about your institution’s exact setup? Prepare a focused request.
Find the right contact routeNo. This page explains the request route and does not submit a deletion request. Contact your institution administrator; the enquiry page can help you prepare a brief to send through the institution’s established channel.
Not automatically. The institution must review the learner relationship and the records concerned, including any reason to preserve academic or financial history. Ask it to confirm what is retained and why.
There is no universal processing deadline published for every deployment. Ask the institution to acknowledge the request, identify the responsible contact and explain its applicable process and expected response time.
Use the institution’s known contact route and provide a minimal account reference. Complete its identity checks securely. If the issue is simply a forgotten password, the login recovery flow is a separate way to regain access.
