Made for institutional realities

A school day has local context. Your system should, too.

Indian currency and time settings, institution-defined academic structures, family relationships and purpose-specific identifier records bring everyday school administration into one coherent workspace.

A practical journey to explore

A CLOSER LOOK

Begin with the way your institution actually works.

An academic year, a campus, a section and a guardian relationship each carry meaning. VidyOmni gives those relationships a place in the record, so admissions, attendance, fees and student transitions can share the same institutional context.

Local operating defaults

Tenant records default to Asia/Kolkata, en-IN and INR. Authorized administrators can manage institutional locale and timezone settings.

Your academic structure

Define institutions, campuses, education levels, academic years, programs and sections before assigning learners or planning their progression.

Family and learner context

Maintain guardian relationships, contact information, addresses, previous-school details and admission provenance alongside the learner record.

Purpose-led identifiers

Record admission, roll and registration numbers. PEN, APAAR, ABC and scholarship references require an active consent record for the same purpose before they can be added.

HOW IT WORKS

Configure the institution before the first intake.

A deliberate setup makes local conventions consistent across the school office, teaching teams and finance desk.

Practical foundations

Keep local detail connected to daily work.

The value is in a consistent record, not another spreadsheet of disconnected reference numbers.

Academic years with actual dates

Institution-owned year and calendar records support your chosen teaching cycle. Configure dates and applicability rather than assuming every campus follows one schedule.

INR fee and finance records

Invoices, allocations, receipts, concessions and refunds share currency-aware records. Confirm your fee policy, accounting periods and payment arrangements during implementation.

Institution metadata

The data model allows institution-specific metadata alongside core identity. Agree required affiliation or reporting references during onboarding; metadata alone does not validate a government registration.

Controlled identifier display

Student identifier values are encrypted and presented in masked form. Their source, purpose and consent reference remain part of the administrative record.

Clear boundaries

Official services remain official services.

VidyOmni can hold institutional reference information. A saved reference does not create an official identity, submit a return or establish accreditation.

APAAR resources

Use the Ministry of Education APAAR resource portal for its current process information, FAQs and parental consent forms. VidyOmni does not issue APAAR IDs or claim a live APAAR or ABC connection.

UDISE+ reporting

Refer to the official UDISE+ portal for school-data processes. A school record in VidyOmni does not automatically submit or reconcile a UDISE+ return.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few details
worth getting right.

Questions about your institution’s exact setup? Prepare a focused request.

Find the right contact route
Does India-ready mean government approved or certified?

It describes product configuration and record workflows relevant to Indian institutions. It does not represent government approval, accreditation, a compliance certificate or guaranteed acceptance by a reporting authority.

Will the application create or verify an APAAR, PEN or ABC identifier?

No. Authorized staff can record a reference and its source. The product checks purpose-specific consent for the sensitive identifier types; it does not issue the identifier or confirm its validity with the government service.

Can schools use their own year, section names and fee rules?

Academic years, education levels and sections are institution-configured masters. Fee structures and concession decisions have governed workflows. Review your specific academic and finance requirements during implementation before committing to a rollout.
