A practical journey to explore

A CLOSER LOOK

Make the monthly payroll process explicit.

Payroll needs a known employee list, agreed inputs and a clear approval trail. VidyOmni organizes a run into stages so preparers and reviewers can inspect the totals and supporting payslips before the run advances.

Employee context

Review the institutional employee directory and active staff included in a payroll calculation. Keep employee references attached to the generated payslips.

Checked pay-period inputs

Enter earnings, deductions, net amounts and breakdowns for the run. The calculation checks amount consistency and rejects duplicate employee entries.

A review and lock process

Move through calculation, validation, submission and independent approval before locking. Retain reasons and run history.

Advice and financial records

Prepare supported bank-advice data, record the paid stage and post the payroll run to finance when the required period is open.

HOW IT WORKS

A clear route from inputs to a posted run.

Separate the payroll calculation from authorization and the actual banking process.

IN PRACTICE · 01

Keep preparation, approval and payment understandable.

Each role should know what is being reviewed and what remains an external action.

Payroll preparer

Assemble accurate inputs and check employee-level breakdowns. Resolve calculation differences before requesting approval.

Payroll approver

Review the run, its totals and supporting payslips independently of the maker. Advance the run only through the permitted stages.

Finance team

Check bank-account references and the institution’s payment procedure. Use an open fiscal period for the supported balanced payroll posting.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few details
worth getting right.

Questions about your institution’s exact setup? Prepare a focused request.

Find the right contact route
Does payroll calculate all Indian statutory deductions automatically?

The current run accepts and checks supplied earnings, deduction and net amounts with a breakdown. A complete statutory payroll rules engine, filing service or compliance guarantee is not claimed; validate those requirements with your payroll specialists.

Does bank advice send salaries to employees?

No. Bank advice provides payroll payment data, including account references where configured. Actual bank submission, authorization and settlement remain subject to your banking arrangement and implementation scope.

Does this include a complete recruitment and HR lifecycle?

Employee records and generic workflow foundations exist, but a complete candidate, interview, offer, appraisal and final-settlement suite is not included in this description. Review those requirements separately.
